1) Review the customer’s WTPY or SOLQI response. Conditional Part A enrollment is verified when:
The Part A payment code status is “Z99”, and
The Beneficiary ID Code (BIC) following the Social Security claim number is “M”. For example, “123-45-6789M"
2) Process the QMB eligibility in HEAplus. If eligible, approve QMB prospectively, but no earlier than the Part A entitlement date listed on the WTPY or SOLQI.
When Medicare Part A is not posted on the RP150 screen or SOLQI for Part A, send a referral to request the Buy-In for Medicare part A coverage be posted in PMMIS.
